New Moon to Rise Over MTV Movie Awards
And a collective sigh was heard throughout the land of teendom. MTV informs us today that an exclusive clip from upcoming sequel New Moon will be shown during the live broadcast of its 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
And that’s not all! Stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be on hand to present the never-before-seen clip. All three of them are also nominated: Pattinson and Lautner for Breakthrough Performance Male and Stewart for Best Female Performance. In fact, Twilight leads the pack of all movies with seven nominations including Best Movie and, of course, Best Kiss.
The Andy Samberg-hosted event airs live on May 31 at 9 p.m. ET. Click here to cast your votes for your favorites in all of the categories before Wednesday, May 27, but remember, voting for Best Movie will remain open right up until the show.
