The Walking Dead – First Look at New Characters on the Menu in Season 6

As per usual, EW has scored the first look at the latest additions to the cast of “The Walking Dead,” which is gearing up for its sixth season. Read on for the eye candy and more.
In Season 6 Merritt Wever portrays Dr. Denise Cloyd. Denise’s role as a medic becomes critical in Alexandria after the death of Pete. She played an important role in some of the books and may prove to be just as integral to the series.
Ethan Embry plays Carter, who showrunner Scott Gimple claims is a combination of a few different characters from the books.
Corey Hawkins will be playing Heath, who is a significant character in the comics and a supply runner for Alexandria; in the comics Heath eventually becomes romantically linked to Denise. Whether or not that will happen in the series remains to be seen.

“The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, and Lennie James. Season 6 hits AMC on Sunday, October 11, 2015.
