Zombies Came from the Drive-in
We can never have too many zombie movies, man. The undead buggers just bring us tremendous amounts of joy. Especially when said zombies are done right, meaning that there are actual make-up effects involved and not just white powder and stage blood. Another tool that can enhance a zombie flick is 3D, and that’s exactly what Nick Creature has in mind when it comes to his latest project, It Came from the Drive-In.
Production Weekly has reported that Creature’s screenplay is set to be turned into a 3D feature film. Shock Till You Drop learned a bit more about the project this evening:
“Set on Halloween night in 1959, a kid and a reclusive outcast inventor discover that a new local drive-in theater is a gateway to the other side. They team up to save their town from an army of hideous creatures using a menagerie of monster-slaying inventions.”
