‘Longlegs’ Star Blair Underwood Wants To Do More Horror [Watch]
Blair Underwood has played his fair share of law enforcement officers in his career, so you’d think taking on the role of FBI agent Carter in Osgood Perkins’ new film Longlegs would be a walk in the park. But for Underwood, this film was unlike anything he’d ever done before, especially because it was his first time dipping his toes into the horror genre.
In Longlegs, Underwood plays Agent Carter, Lee Harker’s (Maika Monroe) boss and mentor as they work together on the Longlegs serial killer case. He’s been working on the case for years and hopes that Harker’s abilities will help get them closer to catching the violent murderer.
We spoke with Underwood about working with Maika Monroe, falling in love with the horror genre, and more.
