Folk Horror ‘Animals of the Land’ Awakens Nature’s Wrath
Set to premiere at Fantaspoa is the folk horror Animals of the Land, from filmmaker Luke Jaden (Dark, Deadly & Dreadful, Boo!).
The story follows a family at the beginning of time who live in perfect harmony with Mother Nature, until an act of rebellion unearths a violent force of evil.
It stars Andrea Tivadar (Luminar, Warrior Nun), Abel Lysenko (Agatha All The Time), Jord Knotter (Safe Harbor), and Roan Kyne.
Luke Jaden wrote and directed the film with Phil Wurtzel (Bone Hill, Dormant Evil), Corrina Roshea (Army of the Dead, Scary Movie), and Ele Bardha (Shark Lake, Malicious) as producers.
Animals of the Land is having its world premiere at Fantaspoa 22 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Jord Knotter and Andrea Tivadar will be in attendance for a Q&A session following the premiere.
