The ‘Evil Dead Burn’ Trailer In a Hellish Nightmare of Images!

The full trailer for Evil Dead Burn is finally here, and holy hell, was it worth the wait. After teasing fans with a brief teaser that delivered atmosphere, chaos, and pure dread without revealing much footage, Evil Dead Burn has now unleashed the exact kind of unhinged red band insanity audiences at CinemaCon 2026 couldn’t stop talking about.
If there’s one thing the Evil Dead franchise has always understood, it’s escalation. Every single installment somehow finds a way to push things further than the last. Evil Dead (2013) from Fede Álvarez ended with a literal blood rainstorm, and one of the nastiest final acts modern horror has ever delivered. Then Evil Dead Rise from Lee Cronin cranked the franchise into a whole new nightmare, introducing grotesque body horror, relentless apartment carnage, and that unforgettable mutant Deadite finale that looked ripped straight out of a nightmare-fueled Japanime.
Now director Sébastien Vaniček appears ready to set the entire franchise on fire with Evil Dead Burn, and judging by the trailer screenshots alone, this thing looks completely deranged in the best possible way.
One of the easiest ways to judge whether a horror movie is going to work is by looking at the trailer moments. Bad horror movies don’t really have them. Great horror movies overflow with them. And this trailer? It’s wall-to-wall “holy shit” imagery.
We’re talking demon dogs. Deadite grandmas. Limbs getting mangled. Fingers being severed. Characters smashing themselves to pieces. Bodies burning alive. There’s even a first look at a circular chainsaw weapon that instantly feels iconic.
And then there’s the dishwasher scene.
One of the reasons the Terrifier films work so well is because Damien Leone understands escalation. Every gag goes just a little too far. Every kill keeps adding another layer of cruelty, absurdity, or visual insanity. That exact energy appears to be alive and well in Evil Dead Burn.
In one moment from the trailer, a character crashes backward into a dishwasher loaded with filthy dishes, impaling himself on shards and silverware, before a Deadite suddenly lies on top of him and gets inches from his face. It’s disgusting, mean, hilarious, and gloriously over-the-top all at once — exactly the kind of manic horror chaos this franchise thrives on.
Honestly, the most exciting thing about these images is that they suggest Evil Dead Burn fully understands what audiences want from an Evil Dead movie. Bigger gore. Nastier Deadites. More insanity. More unforgettable set pieces. More moments that make you scream, laugh, and recoil at the same time.
And judging by these screenshots, this movie absolutely came to play.
I can’t wait for July 10. Watch the full red band trailer here.
