Summer Game Fest 2026 has kicked off, and we officially have our first look at the remake of beloved Resident Evil title, Code: Veronica.
Dubbed Resident Evil Veronica, the game is a remake of the 2000 title that saw fan favorites Chris and Claire Redfield attempt to survive a viral outbreak on a remote prison island.
The below trailer gives a look at the gameplay as we meet an old woman in an apartment building before things are interrupted by an ominous intruder.
The first-person POV is a change up from the original game, more in line with what the franchise has been doing with recent entries.
Resident Evil Veronica arrives in 2027 on Steam, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series.
