Last month we exclusively broke the news here on Dread that Death Waltz Recording Company was releasing vinyl soundtracks for both Silent Night, Deadly Night and Christmas Evil, which shortly thereafter became instant sellouts. If you missed out, you’re in luck because we’ve got a copy of each to give away this week!

The 30th anniversary Silent Night, Deadly Night vinyl is a two-disc affair, which includes Perry Botkin’s score as well as a full album of original Christmas songs that were recorded for the movie but never used. The double LP was limited to only 400 worldwide, one disc on transparent red and solid white split-color vinyl and the other on transparent red and transparent green split-color vinyl.

As for Christmas Evil, that record was also limited to 400, pressed on 10″ pink sparkle vinyl. The music for the film was composed by the trio of Don Christenson, Joel Harris, and Julia Heywood, who created a score both menacing and upbeat with tunes in the Christmas tradition. The 12-track record includes sleeve notes from writer/director Lewis Jackson and John Waters.

We’ve got one copy of each to give away, and which one you enter to win is entirely up to you. All you’ve gotta do to throw your hat in the running is comment below with the soundtrack you’d like to be sent in the event that you win. Be sure to also include your e-mail address so we can contact you if your name is chosen.

Get those comments in before the end of this week, as a winner will be chosen on Monday, December 22nd. Good luck to all, and to all a good night!
