Summer just wouldn’t be the same without shark-themed horror movies! One of the most recent is Great White. The film was released on VOD in July and will land on Blu-ray on September 7th.

Synopsis:
A blissful tourist trip quickly turns into a nightmare when five passengers on a seaplane become stranded miles from shore. In a desperate bid for survival, the group tries to make it to land before they either run out of supplies or are taken by a menacing terror lurking just beneath the surface.
Written by Michael Boughen (Dying Breed) and directed by Martin Wilson in his feature debut. Great White stars Katrina Bowden (Piranha 3DD, 30 Rock), Aaron Jakubenko (Tidelands), Kimie Tsukakoshi (Riptide), Tim Kano (Neighbours), and Te Kohe Tuhaka (Love and Monsters, The Dead Lands).
Inspired by true events, Great White follows seaplane operators and lovers, Kaz Fellows (Katrina Bowden) and Charlie Brody (Aaron Jakubenko) who take a flight to the picturesque Hell’s Reef along with their passengers, Joji Minase (Tim Kano), his wife Michelle (Kimie Tsukakoshi) and cook Benny (Te Kohe Tuhaka).
Great White will also be landing on Shudder sometime in 2021. Stay tuned for updates.
