Funko Teases ‘Absolute Batman,’ Joker, and Brainiac Vinyl Figures!
Funko continues to blur the line between collectibles and pop culture storytelling, turning iconic characters into must-have vinyl figures. From comic books to blockbuster films, its Pop lineup reflects the characters shaping the moment, and of course, the next step is Absolute Batman, the biggest DC comic in decades.
In a leaked memo, it was revealed that we’ll be getting the following Funko POP vinyl toys from the Absolute universe:
- Absolute Batman
- Absolute Batman (black and white chase)
- Absolute Joker
- Absolute Superman
- Absolute Brainiac
As expected, Absolute Batman should feature his newly introduced oversized chest emblem, a design that has quickly become one of the most talked about and instantly recognizable updates to the character in years.
The Joker’s inclusion is a bit less certain in presentation, as it remains unclear whether the figure will reflect his human appearance or lean into the more grotesque monster form, which carries a distinctly Venom-like aesthetic.
Meanwhile, Absolute Superman rounds out the core lineup, but the most unsettling addition is easily Absolute Brainiac. If you have not read Absolute Superman yet, it is essential, particularly for the Brainiac arcs that redefine the character in a far more disturbing light.
This version of Brainiac strips away any sterile detachment and leans fully into body horror, presenting him as something invasive and inhuman. He is less a calculating machine and more a living nightmare, transforming knowledge itself into a weapon.
