Ah, God, here we go again. Someone out there wants to bring Witchblade to the big screen, though I really can’t understand the enduring popularity of this comic.

Here’s the first thing we’ve seen in forever from Death Walks the Streets, that fabled indie film about vampires, werewolves, demons and the mob that may or may not ever actually see the light of day. For fans of Ryan Schifrin’s Spooks comic who were excited by the recent announcement that G.I. Joe creator Larry Hama would be expanding the comic with Spooks: Omega Team, Devil’s Due just sweetened the pot further by announcing that the #0 issue will only set you back $.99!

Creator of the flash cartoon and printed comic Xombie, James Farr, tipped us off today that his baby will be getting the live-action treatment. The details were pretty vague, but he did inform us that "big names" are involved!

Wow, it’s all about literary adaptations this morning, eh? Which I have to say is a welcome change from story after story about remakes... Variety reports that David DiGilio has been tapped by Dreamworks to pen the screenplay for The Damned, which started life as a graphic novel from Oni Press written by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt.
