We just got our hands on not one, but two, clips from the Paul Andrew Williams (interview) film The Cottage (DVD review), which is out on DVD right now! The first features one of the wanna-be kidnappers trying to intimidate their hostage, who’s just not having it. The other is the first appearance, to this character at least, of a hideously deformed monstrosity, which makes him scream like a bitch.

Tribeca Horrors 2008: The Cottage
Just like our extensive and exhausting (on our side, at least) coverage from last year (read it all right here), we’re compiling as much info as we can for the horror offerings at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, going down in NYC this April 23rd – May 4th!

The Cottage Gets a Trailer
"Strangers don't fare well in these parts." That's the kind of warning we Americans usually hear with a Southern twang attached, but this time it is oddly more ... British. Yeah, I wasn't sure what to make of that either.

Poster for UK's The Cottage
The UK horror/comedy The Cottage is set to open in theaters across the pond on March 14th, 2008. Though no official site has been created for it yet, distributor Pathe Films has put together a pretty cool poster that you can see by clicking on the teaser image to the right.

Williams, Paul Andrew (The Cottage)
Interview by: Mike Syxx
With its DVD release in just a few weeks, Paul Andrew Williams' The Cottage will be fresh in the minds of many who were attendance of the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. The tale of a kidnapping gone very, very wrong is simply one of the funnest horror-comedies I've seen in years, but why listen to me when you can hear it straight from the director's mouth!
