Timecrimes Remake Finally on the Move?

Magnet has finally gotten around to releasing the DVD specs for Nacho Vigalondo’s Timecrimes, the Spanish semi-horror hit that’s been winning awards at almost every festival it's shown up at over the last year. In case you’ve been ignoring any and all info about the film, it follows a normal, everyday man whose curiosity about a topless sunbather leads him to a masked stranger in a trench coat, time travel, and, ultimately, murder.

    Plot Synopsis:

    Hector is an ordinary man who's moving to a new house with his wife. One evening, while he's looking through his binoculars, he sees a naked girl in the woods. He decides to go there just to find that same girl laying on a rock. Suddenly, a man with a pink bandage covering his face, stabs Hector in his arm with scissors. Then a chase starts...

    Men Scribe Signs for Timecrimes Remake

    Well, this is interesting ... The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Timothy J. Sexton, best known for his Children of Men screenplay, has been brought on board by United Artists to pen the English-language remake of Timecrimes. Guess I spoke too soon about the lack of remake news today, eh?
