Red Band Quarantine Trailer!
We've been wondering just how bloody John Dowdle's Quarantine would be. Thanks to a new red band trailer, we have a better idea.

Quarantine: The Game?!
John Dowdle's Quarantine just won some of us over. No, it's not a picture of Jennifer Carpenter in the buff but something much better!

New High Quality Quarantine Trailer
AITH picked up the newest trailer for Quarantine and it raised some new questions. We know that everything is shot from a news cameraman's equipment, but the entire film looks pretty steady and in HD. Maybe all the complaints via Cloverfield-sickness made director John Dowdle opt for a less shaky film?

New Quarantine & Drag Me to Hell Dates
2008 feels like the year of the release date switch. Midnight Meat Train was one of those victims, but we're pretty confident the following two titles won't end up the balls of some insane studio juggler.

Sneak a Peek at Quarantine's Infected!
The Brothers Dowdle are shaping their remake of REC (review) up pretty nicely. Those of us who have seen the original may not jump the same way twice, but it's pretty easy to see that their interpretation of the Spanish original may just do the trick on a fresh audience.

First Look at Quarantine Poster
I’ve been hearing some mixed things about John Dowdle's Quarantine recently, but I can’t help but be curious how he pulls of this remake of REC (review), one of the most-loved horror films in recent years.

Quarantine Gets Rated
If you saw The Strangers (review) this past week, there's a good chance the trailer for REC's American remake played before the feature presentation. Up until now the film's rating was still in limbo.

Quarantine Trailer Live!
Many of us have been wondering how Quarantine, the U.S. remake of REC (review), is going to compare to its original. We know a few things have changed in regard to the "infection", but what about how the movie is shot? Well, thanks to DC reader Germboy, we have some answers.

Carpenter Cornered in Quarantine
The American remake of REC, known as Quarantine, could go a long way if it stays as creepy as the original. It has a strong leading lady, and director John Erick Dowdle knows what he's doing when it comes to cinema vérité. You'll know what I am talking about whenever The Poughkeepsie Tapes is released.

Quarantine Gets Viral
October 17th may seem like a long time away, but at least John Dowdle's remake of REC (review), titled Quarantine is revving its engine with some viral marketing (“Diary and Quarantine Release Dates!” – November 2007).
YouTube video blogger named Eric has released an interesting video shot outside a building that has been roped off. Check it out below.

Dowdle, John & Drew (Quarantine)
Interview by: Uncle Creepy
Every year there’s at least one or two horror films made that pick up amazing word of mouth from the moment they’re seen and never slow down. This year one of those films the Spanish entry REC (review) and while most US horror freaks are still waiting to see it, its American remake, Quarantine, is on it’s way this October.
Pretty amazing turnaround, actually, but that’s the nature of this business these days. To get to the bottom of why this film was being remade so quickly, Uncle Creepy got himself some time with its director John Dowdle and executive producer Drew Dowdle and commenced with brain-picking!
The results can be heard below! Who knows, maybe this will convert all the haters out there and make them actually look forward to Quarantine. Stranger things have happened!
