Diary of the Dead Kicks Off RIOFAN!

I am not sure how many readers we have from South America, but RIOFAN (Rio Fantastic Film Festival) is something worth talking about regardless because George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead (review) will be kicking off the film festival in Brazil on April 30th!

New Time Crimes Poster Art

While at New York Comic Con this past weekend, which made the wise decision to move from February to April this year but is going back to February for next year, I hit up the Magnolia/Magnet booth and saw the first poster for their release of Nacho Vigalondo’s Timecrimes, which you can check out on your right.

Yesterday we got official word from Warnrer Bros that Raw Feed entry Otis would be making its premiere at this year’s South by Southwest festival, running March 7th-15th. But Otis is just one of many new horror entries making their debut, as we found out today when the official lineup was announced.

Screamfest Gets 30 Days Early

While we’re still waiting for the full schedule to make itself known to the world, the folks behind Screamfest LA are letting some info slip here and there regarding the upcoming festival. For fans of movies that look like they’re going to kick ass, which I count myself among, they just announced a special advance screening of David Slade’s 30 Days of Night on October 16th, three days prior to its theatrical release!
