The folks behind the now-defunct Fangoria Comics line have reunited to give it a go one more time, this time under the banner of Fangoria Graphix, according to a new blog posted on Fango’s MySpace page.

In case you've been wondering just how out if it I am when it comes to new horror comics, I had no idea a new Ghostbusters comic was on its way from IDW until about 15 minutes ago. But luckily when I learn things, I share them with you guys cause, well, that’s what we’re here for, right?

A press release rolled in today with some rather odd news regarding Hack/Slash's current storyline involving Herbert West, the Re-Animator. It seems a newly formed company called Re-Animator LLC has filed a Cease and Desist letter with the comic's distributor, Diamond Comic Distributors.

Earlier this year, Stefan Hutchinson's comic mini-series Halloween: Nightdance brought back the classic Michael Myers in a big way. It not only proved better than all the sequels combined, it nearly erased every bad memory from Rob Zombie's romp in trailer park land. We've been eagerly anticipating Hutchinson's follow-up and today he dropped us a line with some news regarding his next stab at The Shape:

On October 21st, EA Games is going to unleash one of the most anticipated horror video games of the year, Dead Space. The game would be enough to satisfy any genre fan but to sweeten the deal, EA is going cross media to make the story more tangible with a comic and animated film.

Now here’s something we didn’t expect to happen so soon. Ryan Schifrin’s comic book series Spooks (official forum) is going to be hitting the big screen! Our guys covering the San Diego Comic-Con phoned in with the news. Barry Joesphson (Enchanted) is set to produce, but a director ad cast has yet to be announced.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jenna Dewan and her boobs have nabbed the lead role in a motion picture adaptation of Top Cow's top heavy comic Magdalena. Dewan will star as Patience, a very attractive young woman who discovers she's the next in a line of female warriors descended from Mary Magdalene that fight the forces of evil.
