2008 feels like the year of the release date switch. Midnight Meat Train was one of those victims, but we're pretty confident the following two titles won't end up the balls of some insane studio juggler.

I’ve been hearing some mixed things about John Dowdle's Quarantine recently, but I can’t help but be curious how he pulls of this remake of REC (review), one of the most-loved horror films in recent years.

Ah, viral marketing, the bane of Internet journalists’ existences. Some of this stuff is so damn obscure; it’s hard to follow the connection to the actual film it’s supposed to relate to (see anything regarding Cloverfield for examples).

Seriously now, why is it that whenever studios release pics from their horror titles that they’re always the most boring, tell-you-nothing images they can find? I mean, if you have a movie with some ghosts and gore, at least show them off!

The brothers behind The Poughkeepsie Tapes are prepping their remake of Spanish horror film REC, now called Quarantine here in the States, and casting is in full force.

Man, a lot of changes have come down as to when you’re going to see the most anticipated horror films of the near future according to Box Office Mojo. Not sure why it’s happened all of a sudden, but the dates they are a changin'.
