30 Day Shorts Details

Someone I know has seen 30 Days of Night, a rough cut of it anyway, and said it kicks major ass and is completely worthy of the title it is adapted from. That is a great relief to me because if the flick ended up sucking (pun intended), I would be even more disenchanted than usual.

Further good news was culled today when Bloody-Disgusting got more solid details on a series of 30 Days shorts being shot exclusively for Fearnet, which were first mentioned right here.

According to the site, the storyline of the short series, which will air on the Fearnet site in anticipation of the release of 30 Days of Night this October 19th, will follow a character named George (from the comics) who is tracking the same clan of vampires through the streets of New Orleans that eventually head to Barrow, Alaska.

Victor Garcia (Return to House on Haunted Hill) will helm the shorts, which are in pre-production now. Sexy!
