Corgi Gets Igor Toys

Ever heard of a toy company called Corgi International? The name doesn’t grab me either, but apparently they hold collectible rights for things like Batman, Harry Potter, and "Star Trek" and have now added the upcoming animated monster movie Igor to their roster.

Of course you remember Igor, right? The Weinstein Co.’s tale of a land in which Igor is not a name, but a title; and if you’re born a hunchback, you’re automatically destined to be an evil scientist's assistant. One young Igor, though, goes against the grain and decides, instead of working for an evil scientist, he will become an evil scientist. Gotta love ambition!

Corgi now has the rights for action figures, playsets, role-play games, vinyl figures, plush, statues and more with characters from Igor, which is due out on October 28th, 2008.
