Full Cast Announced for Eric England's Contracted

Over on IMDB the full cast for Madison County director Eric England's new flick, Contracted, has been unveiled. Or you can just read about it here, thereby negating the risk of getting into a flame war with one of the site's many loony users.

The full cast includes Katie Stegeman, Charley Koontz, Najarra Townsend, E-Kan Soong, Matt Mercer, Simon Barrett, Alice Macdonald, Jennifer Gonzalez, Ruben Pla, and Lionel D. Carson.

"Contracted is really a product of all the promiscuity that goes on in the world and the lack of understanding for which the consequences carry," England told us in an earlier interview. "There are shows that glamorize promiscuous sex like 'Teen Moms' and 'Jersey Shore', and I just wanted to take that and kind of spin it on its head. Contracted is definitely not a 'preachy' movie by any means. It doesn't get on a soapbox about anything; it's more of just a really gruesome PSA on sex and relationships all spinning out of control. Love, passion, and emotions are all powerful things; and if they're played with in the wrong ways, they can become deadly."

The film, penned by England, tells the tale of “a young girl who has a one-night stand with a random stranger and contracts what she thinks is a sexually-transmitted disease – but is actually something much worse.”

Contracted is coming to us from the new production company BoulderLight Pictures, co-founded by JD Lifshitz and Raphael Margules, and Southern Fried Films.
