Pierce Brosnan Joins The Coup

More casting news has come in for the Dowdle brothers' (Quarantine) latest flick, The Coup, and we have the latest for you right here. Read on for all the details. You don't want to make the former Mr. Bond angry, do you?

According to Variety, Pierce Brosnan will star opposite Owen Wilson in Crime Scene Pictures' thriller The Coup with lensing set to start in October.

John Erick Dowdle (Devil) will direct from a script he co-wrote with his brother, Drew Dowdle. The story centers on an American family who move to Southeast Asia and find themselves entangled in a violent coup in which merciless rebels attack the city.

Crime Scene Pictures announced recently that it's producing a remake of Suspiria with David Gordon Green attached to direct. The banner's also in pre-production on Everly, a thriller starring Kate Hudson with Joe Lynch directing.
