First Look at Lucy Griffiths in True Blood as Centuries-Old Vampire Nora
We already knew that the probably too numerous to count new characters to appear in the upcoming Season 5 of "True Blood" include a "sister" for Eric, to be played by Lucy Griffiths, and now we have our first look at her as "Nora".
Thanks to TV Guide we've learned that the Godric-made Nora is "an irreverent British lady who we think was turned during Elizabethan or Victorian times." Lucy reveals a bit more: "It's been years since she's seen Eric, and she is very excited. She looks up to him, but they've had a fiery love/hate relationship in the way that brothers and sisters do."
Nora is part of the ruling council known as the Vampire Authority, and the photo below shows her, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), and Bill (Stephen Moyer) on the attack. Griffiths explains, "It occurs just after I've met them, and it's a reaction to being taken by surprise by some threatening characters."
The 12-episode fifth season of "True Blood" will kick off Sunday, June 10th, at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). For more in the meantime visit "True Blood" on HBO.com, or jump in on the Twitter conversations here using the hashtag #trueblood.
