PROMETHEUS is just one of few films I am looking forward to seeing in IMAX (along with THE HOBBIT & BATMAN:THE DARK KNIGHT - although neither of these is a horror film); however it feels like 2012 is a quiet year for horror films in general (which is ok, as I prefer quality vs. quantity) & I guess Dread Central is running out of films to promote (so I have to ask, "do other films deserve mention on dread central?" (ie Hunger Games)...

I only hope Warner Bros continues to give PROMETHEUS the right viral marketing strategy (not revealing too much) & no inferior sequels (is anyone else fed up with straight-to-dvd crap?. This is a welcome respite from crap that gets marketed to horror fans (i.e. Paranormal Activity, or any other film that attempts to copy its format)...

I just had a massive Nerdgasm...

This is on the top of my 'to watch' list for the summer. Just by looking at the trailer, I'd ALMOST guess we get to see the Space Jockey walk around.

Question is; will it lend credence to the idea that the Xenomorph was bred as a bio-weapon?

Indeed, MagusMaleficus. I imagine this has resulted in multiple orgasms across the globe. I myself am quite the mess after taking in this trailer.

Prometheus has been one of my most anticipated movies of the year. It is now THE most anticipated movie on my list. Not even The Hobbit (a film based on what I consider to be the single greatest work of literary fantasy ever written- though I'm a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, I've always maintained that, taken singularly, the original novel The Hobbit is a better book than any of the LOTR tomes) has me as captivated as this one does.

C'mon June 8.
