First American Horror Story Season Two Teaser Poster Undergoes a Procedure

We know four things about the second season of "American Horror Story": Jessica Lange will be back in some capacity, it will take place in a "horror institution" on the East Coast, it'll be back on the air in October, and finally... we want to know more right now!

Spoiler TV nabbed the very first bit of teaser artwork for the show's second season, and it shows off exactly what kind of horrors we can expect from said institution. Check it out below, and even though it looks like it'd look cooler through traditional 3D glasses, don't bother. It adds nothing.

Look for more soon and let the speculation officially begin. Find anything cool or not entirely noticeable about this latest bit of eye candy? Let us know in the comments section below.

Update
We've confirmed with the powers that be that said poster is a fake. Joy! Still pretty cool though.

ScaryJerry, that is a GREAT guess. That place has to be one of the top 10 real life American horror stories. Absolutely hideous... babies born there, families lived there, died there...and it is enormous. Suicides, thousands of "natural" deaths from TB and other things, the actual nurses and doctors contracting the disease themselves...and let's not forget the "Death Tunnel". The little kid that wants someone to play with to this day, rolling the ball down the hall...the pregnant and finally infected nurse that hung herself on the top floor to escape...UGGGGGHHHHH that place gives me the willies just thinking about it. *shudder* Hideous!!! I now have to look stuff up about it again...I hope season 2 takes place there...thanks for that!

My best guess is the Waverly Hills Sanatorium which is ripe with history of medical experimentation, over 60,000 deaths and suicides, and a well-documented haunting. Sounds like a place a crazy woman (Jessica Lange) would have visited in some capacity. Sure it's in Louisville, Kentucky but that is "back East" enough for Ryan Murphy.
