Read on for the details. According to TV Guide newcomer Lindsey R. Garrett has been cast as Samantha Gilbert. Samantha, in her 20s, is described as a bit of a gossip, and she'll appear in the episode titled "1912," airing at the end of February, as one of the town's founding family members who interacts with both Salvatore brothers.
