Italian horror films have always been known for the buckets of blood they dump on us fans, and if this first trailer is any indication, Lucas Pavetto’s The Perfect Husband is going to make folks like Fulci and Argento proud. Dig in!

The Perfect Husband opens this summer in limited theaters across Italy.

Co-written by Pavetto and Massimo Vavassori, the film stars Gabriella Wright, Bret Roberts, Carl Wharton, Tania Bambaci, Daniel Vivian, and Philippe Reihardt.

Synopsis
Viola and Nicholas are going through a difficult period. The couple and their relationship were strained by a termination of pregnancy that has overwhelmed them unexpectedly. To overcome this crisis, they decide to spend a weekend in an old cottage lost in the woods, but all will take a devilish bent when the head of one of the spouses will infiltrate a crazy suspicion. What was supposed to be a quiet weekend will turn suddenly into a deadly nightmare.
