Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett Returning for Season 4 of American Horror Story?

As we told you last week, ratings powerhouse “American Horror Story” has been renewed for a fourth season, which will supposedly be series regular Jessica Lange’s final season. Will she be joined by any other familiar faces? If creator Ryan Murphy has his way!

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Murphy wants both Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett back for next season, both of whom joined the show this season. “I have approached them and they wanna do it,” says Murphy. “That’s very exciting when you can work with A.) actresses you’ve always idolized and B.) those two are loving this season. They love what they get to do. Kathy Bates sent the writers a basket of plush toys all in the shapes of disemboweled organs. It doesn’t get better than when an Oscar winner sends you a grab bag of stuffed pancreas to say ‘Thank you and job well done’.”
