First Talk from Lionsgate of an Eighth Saw Film
Anyone who believed that Saw 3D was going to be the last film in the storied franchise is in for a shock. Freddy's not dead, Friday 4 wasn't the final chapter, and Lionsgate has breathed the first words about another Saw flick.
During an interview with CNBC, Liongate Vice Chairman Michael Burns openly revealed that a new film is in the cards.
"I'm sure, some day, you'll see Saw back in the picture," Burns said, speaking on the potential return of Jigsaw, Billy the puppet, and traps so ludicrous they may take an army of Swiss watchmakers and a demolition crew to build.
I know it's shocking, huh? We're all just floored around here! Who could have possibly seen this coming!?! What do you think? Has Jigsaw's box office vacation lasted long enough? Let us know in the comments section below.

I'm actually more shocked it has taken this long for Lions Gate to say anything about a new film. Whenever a film has the subtitle "The Final Chapter" it's a guarantee there'll be another one...
