Misha Collins Swoops Back into Supernatural

Coming off this past Friday night's mid-season finale of "Supernatural", one thing is certain: In order to set things right, the Winchester boys need nothing short of a miracle. Could that miracle come in the form of Castiel?

According to Entertainment Weekly, after being assumed dead since the beginning of this season, fan-favorite Misha Collins is slated to return to "Supernatural" in the new year. He will appear in Episode 17 of this season and at least two additional episodes.

Can Bobby be saved? Being that we're just getting to Episode 11 when the show returns, it's anyone's guess. The road to 17 sure seems long, doesn't it?

Look for the series' return on Friday, January 6th, 2012 on The CW.
