First Teaser Video for Bates Motel Season 2 Arrives to Keep You in StitchesA&E has released the first video teaser for “Bates Motel” Season 2 which conjures up many taxidermed memories of the wonders of human flesh. Now doesn’t that sound delightfully ghoulish? Dig it!

We still don’t have a firm premiere date for the second season of “Bates Motel” other than sometime in 2014, but we’re pretty sure it’ll be worth the wait.

Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles of Norman and Norma Bates, respectively, alongside newcomers Kathleen Robertson, Rebecca Creskoff, Kenny Johnson, Paloma Kwiatkowski, and Michael Vartan.

“Bates Motel”: Season One, starring Emmy-nominated Vera Farmiga as Norma and Freddie Highmore as Norman, will be available to own on Blu-ray and DVD, each with Digital including Ultraviolet, on September 17, 2013, from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

From the producers of “Lost” and “Friday Night Lights” comes the “moody, twisty, creepy and gloriously insane” (Mary McNamara, Los Angeles Times) “Bates Motel”: Season One. This re-imagining of one of Alfred Hitchcock’s beloved masterpieces weaves a web of deception, murder, and unexpected twists in a small town where nothing is what it seems.

“Bates Motel”: Season One also stars Nestor Carbonell (“Lost”), Max Thieriot (House at the End of the Street), Mike Vogel (Cloverfield), Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender), and Olivia Cooke (Blackout). Filled with gruesome horrors, nail-biting suspense, and an eerie visual landscape ideal for Blu-ray Hi-Def, experience all 10 episodes back-to-back and uninterrupted of the hit series critics say is “impossible to look away [from]” (Mary McNamara, Los Angeles Times). The Blu-ray and DVD also include a set of collector cards featuring artwork from the show (“Jiao’s Sketchbook”) for a limited time only.
