No thanks. I was underwhelmed by the extremely overrated PA2. This will either be a rental or, more likely, something I catch at a friends house, requiring that I expend not one cent of my own cash flow.

Discover how the activity began? What the hell is this, the horror variant of The Lion King 1 1/2, where they go back to "before the beginning"? First we have a couple being terrorized. Spooky stuff. Then a year later we have a child of the couple's relatives being targeted and some back story that explains why the couple was terrorized to begin with. Not as spooky, with a climactic reveal that managed to eradicate any sympathy I had for a major character, rendering the preceding hour and half pointless in my opinion. Now, of course, we have to travel back in time to a different era to see how the same shit happened.

Just call this Paranormal Activity Snaps Back and be done with it already.

Awesome...more bedroom camera footage of very little happening until the end. I can't wait. Paranormal Activity 4 will be lost footage found on Beta-Max if they go backwards one more time...

What will 4's tag line be now? Discover what happened before the activity began!

I thought 1 was a solid movie; 2 wasn't, but it was campy fun, so I didn't mind (getting it from Netflix and watching it with snarky friends instead of paying 10 bucks to see it in the theater definitely helped), but I have no hopes for this one.

I like it - suitably spooky and similar in tone to the others. Plus, September 24th was my grandmother's birthday so that's super cool!
