First Dream House Clip Demands Answers!

The first clip from the upcoming suspense thriller Dream House starring Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts, and Rachel Weisz is now here, and we have every spoiler-filled second of it right here for ya!

The project, picked up as a spec by David Loucka and directed by Jim Sheridan, follows a family that relocates into what appears to be the ideal residence in small town Connecticut. However, the husband (Daniel Craig) and wife (Rachel Weisz) are disturbed to discover that their beautiful new home was the site of another family's slaughter, believed to be at the hands of the husband, who survived. Naomi Watts plays their neighbor.

Look for the flick to hit theatres on September 30th, 2011.

Some say that all houses have memories. For one man, his home is the place he would kill to forget.

Successful publisher Will Atenton (Craig) quit a high power job in Manhattan to relocate his wife, Libby (Weisz), and two girls to a quaint New England town. But as they settle into their new life, they discover their perfect home was the murder scene of a mother and her children. And the entire city believes it was at the hands of the husband who survived.

When Will investigates, he’s not sure if he’s starting to see ghosts or if the tragic story is just hitting too close to home. His only clues come from Ann Paterson (Watts), a mysterious neighbor who knew those who were shot. And as Will and Ann piece together the haunting puzzle, they must find out who murdered the family in Will’s dream house before he returns to kill again.

Where the hell did this movie come from? I'd like to think I'm up-to-date with all things horror related but I never once remember hearing anything at all about this movie until I saw the trailer before Fright Night? I never knew it existed. It looks like your usual PG-13 shitfest supernatural dad-gets-possessed children-in-peril haunted-CGI garbage so I won't see it, but still...this totally slipped under my radar.

How could any clip spoil the movie when the trailer did a comprehensive job it doing that already?
