For the past couple years it seems like every movie that’s aired on Syfy has centered around some sort of giant hybrid animal creature, so I guess it can be considered somewhat of a breath of fresh air that the network is next taking on aliens.

Check out the TV spot for Invasion Roswell, which proves that in space, we can still see bad CGI!

Directed by David Flores, the film stars Pet Sematary‘s Denise Crosby, Greg Evigan, Jackson Stewart and Berkeley Anderson.

Look for it on Syfy August 8th, at 9/8c.

Synopsis
After the American Army shot down a UFO in 1947, generations of elite commandos were secretly trained to deal with the aliens’ feared return. However, the extra-terrestrials never came back and the elite force was disbanded. Sixty-six years after the Roswell crash, the aliens are invading Earth and only the over-the-hill retired commandos can stop them.
