Milla Jovovich Talks Resident Evil: Retribution

You know, there was a time when we were excited about a new Resident Evil flick coming out. Lately? Not so much. Still, the film franchise does have its fans, and star Milla Jovovich took to Twitter today to talk a little bit about the upcoming sequel with fans who follow her.

As you may have surmised, her character "Alice" is back and Paul W.S. Anderson is involved. "I think its called RE: Retribution, but i have to ask paul 2 b sure," tweets the lovely ass-kicker.

Also according to her the setting for the next flick will be Japan "I pray 4 japan everyday and i can't wait 2 go there and shoot the nxt RE!"

Finally as a means to reassure fans of the video game franchise ...

"Just 2 let the RE fans know, because there's been a bunch of questions about the next film, Paul has kids that are professional players. All they do is play the games till they master every level and unlock every code." (There are codes?) "They play the games for WEEKS and give Paul the footage, so he's literally watching days of the most awesome RE players out there to get inspiration 4 the next installment of the franchise."

Well now. We feel better, don't you? Look for Resident Evil: Retribution in theatres on September 14, 2012 from Screen Gems.

Even if Milla got gang-raped by a pack of zombie lesbians it still wouldn't be worth it.

Why do people keep paying money for this? The mind boggles.

Hard to believe that following 'Event Horizon' I was a fan of Anderson and anxious to see his name attached to other genre projects.

"We are bad guys. That means we've got more to do other than bullying companies. It's fun to lead a bad man's life."
