NECA Nabs Rights for Evil Dead License

Remember years ago McFarlane put out an Evil Dead Ash figure that would fall instantly apart the second you took it out of the package? We do too. Honestly? We're still pretty furious about it. To say it was shoddy work is a bit of an understatement. Well how about good reason to erase that news?

NECA announced today that they had acquired the rights to fashion horror fans with some exclusive Evil Dead figures! Can you just imagine the possibilities? There's so many different ghouls to choose from and options to be had. Me personally? I'd like a 3D diorama of the original poster art. Talk about wicked!

In any event plans are to reveal their first Ash from Evil Dead 2 prototypes this July at the San Diego Comic-Con. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
