In mid-May the teaser trailer for Adam R. Steigert’s horror comedy A Grim Becoming will be dropping, and to help whet your appetites, the film’s co-writer/director sent over the first still exclusively for our readers.
Currently in pre-production, DefTone Pictures Studios’ next feature film, a horror comedy entitled A Grim Becoming, is directed by Adam R. Steigert and written by Steigert, Janeen Avery, Christopher Brechtel, and Mark Mendola. A Grim Becoming stars Brandon Williams, Britt Griffith, Devanny Pinn, Bill Oberst, Jr., Michael Sciabarrasi, Jessica Cameron, Melantha Blackthorne, Lynn Lowry, Patrick Mallette, Valerie Lynn Hanna, Melyssa Jade, Mike Sarcinelli, Christopher Brechtel, and Aryn Fitzgerald.
Synopsis:
As Raphael (Williams) returns to Metzburgh, he experiences a life changing event: witnessing a Grim Reaper taking a soul. This sighting results in Raphael becoming a Reaper and having to explore his own conscience and the lengths he will go to get his own life back. But Death, who goes by the more human name of Magoo (Sciabarrasi), has other plans for the naive young executive.
Principal photography on A Grim Becoming will start June 1st, and the film has a tentative release date of June 21, 2014. The official A Grim Becoming website is currently getting some finishing touches and will be live soon.
