Troll Hunter Director Teaming with Chris Columbus to Discover New Horrors

We cannot wait for you guys to be able to easily see the goodness that is Troll Hunter. Simply put, the film kicks all kinds of ass, and to say that we're anxious to see what director André Øvredal does next is a bit of an understatement.

Screen Daily is reporting that Øvredal is currently working with US writer-director-producer Chris Columbus (Goonies, Home Alone) on a script that he describes as ”a monster comedy in line with 'Gremlins' and 'Men In Black' which he wants me to direct.”

Troll Hunter, Øvredal’s stunning mockumentary proving that trolls do exist in Norway, has since its October 29, 2010, launch sold more than 280,000 domestically as an SF Norge release.
