Marc Buckland Trades in His Scrubs for a Walk on the Grimm Side
With the announcement of the new NBC show "Grimm" came a lot of questions. Would this be a horror show? Would it be a comedy? Would it be worthy of us covering it at all? We're starting to lean toward the "no" side of the fence.
According to Bloody Disgusting Marc Buckland will be directing the pilot episode that begins lensing this March in Portland. Given that Bucland has directed episodes of various sitcoms from "Scrubs" to "My Name is Earl," it's a pretty safe assumption that "Grimm" will be falling directly into the comedy category.
So for those keeping track ... with a comedy element added to the whole "dark but fantastical cop drama about a world in which characters inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales exist", it now sounds even more like Adam Green's "Fairy Tale Police".
More soon.
