The UK Gets Buried on Blu-ray and DVD in February

For those of you in the UK who sadly missed the pleasure of catching Rodrigo Cortés’ fantastic Buried on the big screen, you won’t have to wait too long to have your living room become very, very small indeed. Courtesy of Icon Home Entertainment, the flick will be landing on British shelves on February 14th, 2011.

Synopsis:
Directed by Rodrigo Cortes, Buried tells the terrifying ordeal of Paul Conroy (Ryan Reynolds), who is not ready to die. When he wakes up six feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the unassuming truck driver suddenly, without warning, becomes a hellish nightmare for survival.

Buried with only a mobile phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time. Fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued.
