Gris Grimly Sets the Record Straight on Pinocchio

Earlier this morning we reported that things were looking grim for Guillermo del Toro and Gris Grimly’s Pinocchio. However Gris just wrote in to clear the air a bit.
“I want to clear up the rumor that was started due to misconstrued information that I posted on my networks,” Grimly tells us. “Pinocchio is indeed kicking and has interest from the studios. Although, I thought it could be quiet for a little while, I never thought it could be canceled. It’s just too good.”
So it appears as if the project is just on the old back-burner for now. That’s a far cry from not happening. Good stuff.
