So Which Cenobites Will We See in Hellraiser: Revelations?

Ever since Doug Bradley announced he would not be donning the Pins once again in this latest Hellraiser sequel, the fanbase has been on fire with questions, disdain, and speculation. So which demons to some, angels to others will we be seeing in the new flick? An answer has come.

In an interview with star Sanny van Heteren concerning Hellraiser: Revelations, the young actress dropped the following over on Bloody Disgusting:

Due to budgetary constraints, "It’s basically Chatterer, Pinhead, and 'pseudo-Pinhead'."

Well, at least we're getting Chatterer back.

Hellraiser: Revelations stars Devon Sorvarin (The Dark, The Realm), Steven Brand (as "Dr. Ross Craven"), Sanny Van Heteren (as "Kate Bradley"), Tracey Fairaway (as "Emma"), and Daniel Buran (as "Vagrant") in Dimension Films' low budget sequel.

Victor Garcia will be at the directorial helm working from a script written by F/X maven Gary Tunnicliffe.

Early Plotline:
PINHEAD is back and in his chamber of soulless delights. He thought he had two willing participants in STEVEN and NICO. But Nico wants out and decides that a member of Steven's family will serve as proper barter. Terror ensues.

Yep.This sounds like ass. No Bradley, no Barker, some half assed notion of a pseudo Pinhead and what is -by all accounts- a painfully low budget. So essentially, this is a third rate knock off trying to cash in on the name. Has no one learned from the hideous and painful example of Creepshow III?

How many craptacular straight-to-video Hellraisers do we need?

This is a terrible waste of a great mythology.

P.S. It's not that I object to the creative talent involved, but c'mon, give them enough money to at least do the cenobites properly.

Lame! Is this actually getting a theatrical release?! How I wish some French writers/directors could give this property a whirl.....

I'm going to have to agree with you on that one.

I can say this is one I'm for sure going to have to skip out on, I think they'd have been smarter just to do the remake and I dislike remakes
