“All I can say is Do Not Watch will live up to its title,” producer J.P. Ouellette states of the project. “You’ll wish you heeded the warning. This is evil personified. No doubt the most terrifying script I’ve ever read.”

Ouellette, who co-wrote (with director Joe Arias) and produced the upcoming horror flick Captured, is set to produce the feature Do Not Watch with fellow Captured producer Dylan Matlock. While specific plot details are currently under wraps, the production team state that they “aim to turn [the genre of] found footage horror on its head” and that the script for Do Not Watch “reinvents the genre, as it delves into the depths of the human psyche, showcasing the effects of reckless curiosity.”

Do Not Watch commences principal photography this February 18th in Los Angeles. No word yet on director or casting, although the producers state, “One major film icon will play himself in this uniquely Hollywood horror story.”

With a quick post-production turnaround, Do Not Watch is slated for a late summer/early fall 2013 release.
