Paranormal Activity 2 to Provide Giant Sized Scares in IMAX Theatres





Great news for those fans out there who like their horror larger than life! Word broke today that the highly anticipated sequel to last year's phenomenon Paranormal Activity will be scary the shit out of people on a grand scale!

According to Market Watch Paramount Pictures' Paranormal Activity 2 will be released to 161 digital IMAX theatres in domestic and international territories on October 22nd, simultaneously with the film's release. The film's limited IMAX release will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience with IMAX DMR technology.

Paramount Pictures will debut Paranormal Activity 2 for the fans that “demand” to see it first. The first 20 cities with the highest “demands” for the movie will be invited to attend a free screening on Wednesday, October 20th, at 11:59 pm, before the film’s nationwide release on October 22nd.

The Demand it! campaign, which is available to U.S. and Canadian residents aged 17 and older, ends at 11:59 pm on Wednesday, October 13th. The top 20 cities will be announced on Friday, October 15th. No purchase necessary.

My only problem with the story...

You advertise a contest of sorts that ends on October 13th, yet the story is posted on October 14th...

Other then that, totally stoked for this, although I think I'll skip the Imax on this one...
