Pascal Laugier’s Martyrs isn’t exactly a film you like or dislike. It’s more of something you just experience. That being said, this new bit of artwork from artist Gary Pullin designed for FrightFest in the UK… well, this we love!
“I wanted to create a poster that played up the surgical aspect of the film and Martyr theme – a woman reborn in the Jesus Christ pose on a surgical cross is mysteriously fully enlightened,“ says Pullin.
In the 2008 film, a young woman’s quest for revenge against the people who kidnapped and tormented her as a child leads her and a friend, who is also a victim of child abuse, on a terrifying journey into a living hell of depravity.
