More casting news has come in for All You Need Is Kill. Read on to get the skinny on who will be joining Tom Cruise as he wages a brutal battle against an unrelenting alien race over and over again! Look for it in theatres March 7th, 2014.
Variety reports that Marianne Jean-Baptiste has joined Doug Liman’s All You Need Is Kill opposite Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Jean-Baptiste will portray scientist Dr. Whittle.
The screenplay is written by Dante Harper, Christopher McQuarrie and Joby Harold.
All You Need Is Kill, based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s novel, centers on a soldier (Cruise) in a near-future war against aliens who relives his last day over and over after being killed. Through the training and battles he experiences in these time loops, he becomes a better soldier.

When the alien Gitai invade, Keiji Kiriya is just one of many raw recruits shoved into a suit of battle armor and sent out to kill. Keiji dies on the battlefield, only to find himself reborn each morning to fight and die again and again. On the 158th iteration though, he sees something different, something out of place: the female soldier known as the Bitch of War.
Is the Bitch the key to Keiji’s escape or to his final death?
