From the Press Release
Elite Entertainment has acquired North American and international distribution rights to the independent slasher film Silent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming.

The film is a British remake of the 1974 American horror film Silent Night, Bloody Night and was directed by James Plumb and produced by Andrew Jones, who also wrote the script together. Robert Graham of Independent Moving Pictures executive produced. The cast includes Adrienne King, star of the original Friday the 13th and Friday the 13th Part 2.

The story focuses on the abandoned home of Wilfred Butler, a wealthy but troubled man who committed suicide in 1987, which has been willed to his grandson, Jeffrey. On Christmas Eve 2012, Jeffrey and his lawyer show up in the town of Fairwood to negotiate the sale of the property. But an axe-wielding maniac has set up residence in the house – and he doesn’t take kindly to strangers.

Founded in 1993, Elite Entertainment has since become one of the leaders in the restoration and distribution of horror, science fiction and cult DVD titles. Previous releases include Special Editions of a host of horror classics such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Night of the Living Dead, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Dawn of the Dead, Re-Animator, Maniac, I Spit On Your Grave, Maniac Cop and The Evil Dead.

Andrew Jones, owner of North Bank Entertainment, and President of Elite Vini Bancalari made the deal.

Producer Andrew Jones: “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Elite Entertainment to bring Silent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming to North American and international audiences. Elite’s incredible track record speaks for itself, and we are delighted that our film will join such prestigious company in their catalogue of releases. This film is a love letter to the low budget slasher films of the early 1980s that delivers brutal, creative death scenes which are sure to please horror fans.”

The UK and Ireland distribution rights to Silent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming have previously been acquired by 101 Films.
