San Diego Comic-Con 2010 - Real Life Violence Erupts in Hall H Stabbing
Out of the dozens and dozens of stories we have reported here at Comic-Con, here's one that I never thought I'd be writing.
Between the just ending Resident Evil: Afterlife panel, a fight between two fans erupted when one of them wouldn't change seats. Sadly, the scene ended in bloodshed as the argument turned violent, resulting in the man who wouldn't move being stabbed in the eye with a pen.
The victim has been stretchered out and the attacker (both adults) has been removed from the Convention Center by police in handcuffs, his exclusive Comic-Con Harry Potter T-shirt soaked in blood.
As a result the show's main ballroom, Hall H, has been shut down. No one in, no one out. Hall H is expected to reopen as soon as possible, but at least an hour long delay is expected.
More soon, if need be. Stay safe, guys.

We caught a pick of the aftermath!! http://www.fearnet.com/news/b19720_horror_in_hall_aftermath.html Quick to make fun aren't they?! Only a tragedy like that would happen at CON!

Seriously? Pathetic! (Not you personally I am commenting on the idiots in the picture). Fucking pathetic. Look,I'm not that serious of an individual (unless doing business) at all. I like to have fun. Joke. Sometimes I take things too far. I'm quite sarcastic to the point people (that don't know me) can get pissed. But this? This is pathetic. Making fun of someone who just came to a convention to enjoy themselves and ends up getting stabbed in the eye isn't funny. I wish it would have been one of these two wastes. Bet they wouldn't find it funny then! Or maybe one of their relatives. I wonder if that was the case if they saw someone doing what they did so amusing. They look like two wastes of flesh/space and oxygen.Sorry, just my opinion.

Was he trying to get a seat for the Walking Dead preview? If so, I'd want a damn good seat too!

Is it wrong of me that the first thing I thought when I read this was that Buz finally got stabbed by an angry Mexican horror fan?

How long before someone announces a movie based on this? At the very least we'll likely get a documentary.
I sense a new Franchise for Platinum Dunes. 'Revenge of the Nerd'... wait that title hasn't been used, has it (smirks)?

It's sad to see violence erupt over silly things like seats. Even if I could go to Comic-Con, I wouldn't bother because of wackos like this. I'll stick to getting news off the web, thank you very much.

Absolute insanity. Glad I didn't go.
Maybe this is fodder for moving it to the OC.

Let me start by saying this is a very sad and unnecessary event. Why can't people be respectable adults?
Let me end by saying LMAO, kiddcapone! Brodie, FTW!
