One film we've been looking forward to for a while now around these parts is Stuart Hazeldine's Exam (review here). And while all the print news in the world can serve to whet your whistle, there's just nothing like diggin' on a trailer. Speaking of which ...
Exam arrives on VOD July 23rd. Do yourself a favor and catch it when you can!
Synopsis
Eight candidates have reached the final stage of selection for a prestigious job at a mysterious corporation.
Shown into a windowless examination room, they're given eighty minutes to write an answer to one question. Turning over their questions papers to start, however, they are found to be completely blank.
As the clock ticks down, they must figure out what the company expects of them, and how far they are prepared to go to secure the ultimate job.

NEXT STORY
With the other projects he's currently working on (an illustrated Frankenstein book and his first feature Pinocchio), we were wondering about the status of Gris Grimly's short film Wounded Embark of the Lovesick Mind. Thanks to the power of Twitter we now know it's in post-production and has a brand spanking new poster to boot!

You will fall asleep. You will get bored. You will hope it ends soon so that you can just find out WHY they are there, why the exam is structured as it is,and then you will be heavily disappointed that that was all they could think of. SAVE YOUR TIME! You heard it here first.
