Quite often we sit around looking at our pets and wondering just what the hell they’re thinking in their tiny little minds. If only they could speak. Here’s the catch… what if they could be heard and were evil? Ryan Reynolds may be finding out for himself soon enough!
According to Deadline, Mandalay Vision and Vertigo Entertainment are in early talks with Ryan Reynolds to star in The Voices, a psychological thriller that will be directed by Marjane Satrapi from a script by Paranormal Activity’s Michael R. Perry.
Mandalay Vision will finance the film, and Mandalay’s Matthew Rhodes and Cathy Schulman are producing with Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee. Mandalay Senior Vice President Adam Stone will also produce. Casting is under way, and the intention is to begin production in the early part of 2013.
Synopsis
Jerry, a schizophrenic worker at a bathtub factory, accidentally kills an attractive woman from accounting. While trying to cover his bloody tracks, Jerry starts taking advice from his talking (and foul-mouthed) cat and dog.
