Though it is still seeking distro here in the States, the promotional trailer for Hugues and Sandra Martin's new film about ancient creatures run amok, Stranded (known in France as Djinns), has made its way online. Ready for your first look at all of the desert based shenanigans?
Count us in for any movie home to invisible creatures attacking soldiers in the desert! Yes, it is a bit familiar, but screw it! We're in anyway! Check out the trailer below beyond the plot crunch!
Synopsis
Algeria, 1960. A section of French paratroopers are sent in search of a missing aircraft in the Algerian desert. The wreckage of the plane is quickly located, but there are no survivors, just a suitcase stamped "Top Secret". Stormed by enemy soldiers, the troops find refuge in a strange abandoned citadel. Despite warnings from the place's Guardian to leave at once, they wake up the Djinns, the evil spirits of the desert...

True Blood Ep. 27 Post Mortem & Inside the Episode and Ep. 28 Promo Those of us here at Dread Central who watched last night's episode of "True Blood" entitled "It Hurts Me Too" are still reeling from the closing few moments. Thankfully we have a Post Mortem that focuses on Alcide as we don't even want to think anymore about what's got Bill so twisted up! But if you do, we also have "The Weight of the World", which explores some of the themes uncovered in the ep.
I am crossing all my fingers and my toes (takes a long time to type that way...) that it will play at Fantasia and that it will play while we are there.
